Christmas Decorations

You need:
The Bubbly Funk Christmas Mini Kit
You will also need::
strong wire
beads
glaze
scrap of ribbon
Cover the bow with a scrap of paper from your kit, ink the edges and then glaze. Take a 35cm length of strong wire and make a tight loop at one end. Thread on some beads. Thread beads for the other end as well and then form a small look to stop them slipping off.
Curl a section of the wire from each end, above the beads, around a pencil. Gently fold in half. Attach using a brad, sandwiching a ribbon bow in the middle.
Merry Christmas Board

You need:
The Bubbly Funk Christmas Mini Kit
You also need:
Piece of thick card 26cm x 14cm
Chipboard letter to spell 'merry Christmas'
Scrap of red felt
Scrap of narrow red ribbon about 15cm
Glossy accents
Glitter
Take your thick card and mark down 6cm from the long sides. Mark 4cm in from each top corner. Draw and cut between these 2 points on each side to make a large tag shape.
Cover with the Mulberry paper from the kit. Rub red ink around the edges and gently over the top so that the pattern and veins show up a little.
Take out the veins of the chipboard holly and gently rub dark green ink over. Cover holly with the DCWV Merry Green. Cover the holly berries with the Christmas Red. Attach to the board as in the picture. Colour the chipboard letters black and arrange & stick to the board. Attach red buttons to look like 'spare' berries. Cover the letters with glitter and the chipboard berries with glossy accents.
Take one of the chipboard candy canes and cut it down to look like a stocking shape.
Cover with the Bright Baubles paper. Wrap a scrap of red felt around the top. Use the ribbon to attach to the back of the board.. Make 2 holes in the top and thread through a length of the green ribbon from the kit, knotting the ends as shown. Add a green bow to the bottom.
'Our Christmas' Mini Book

What you need:
The Bubbly Funk Christmas Mini Kit
Plus:
Chipboard word - Bubbalicious Christmas
2 pieces of card for covers – 17cm x 11cm
12x12 plain paper (I used a very soft apricot)
various coloured thin cards for pages – 16cm x 10cm
Ranger Glossy Accents
Glitter
Cover the outsides of your two card book covers, folding over about 2cm to the inside. Cut out 2 pieces of Holiday Cheer paper 15.5cm x 10cm and use them to cover the inside to make it all neat. Cut shapes from the Stemma Holiday Cheer paper and glue to the front as shown (cut these from around the edges of the paper). Go around the edge with a light dusting of ink, I used turquoise.
Cut a 7.5cm circle from the A4 Christmas red card and ink the edges as before. Attach the red circle to the front of your book as shown. Stick the letter stickers O,U & R to some white card and cut out using a circle punch. Attach these as shown and cover them with glossy accents. Set aside to dry.
Take the chipboard holly leaf and use it as a template to cut out 2 leaves in the Merry Green card. Ink lightly around the edges. Gently fold down the centres and ink again. Attach using foam pads. Thread some ribbon through one of the buttons and glue this in place as a berry.
Colour the Bubbalicious Christmas word with green ink (I used a felt pen) and then add glitter. When dry attach to front of book. I joined my covers and pages using a Bind It All but you could use book rings or ribbon.
I have left the inside pages plain in this case.
Zig-Zag Christmas Card

You need:
The Bubbly Funk Christmas Mini Kit
You also need:
A4 red card
Take the A4 red card and looking at it landscape mark down 5cm on the right side. Draw a line from the top left corner to the mark and cut. Tri-fold the card. Cover the front and the 3rd fold (that's visible from the front) with the Bauble paper. Cover the inside facing you with the gold card.

Emboss the template provided in the kit onto some of the DCWV Merry Green and gently scuff so that you reveal the white core. Mount onto a piece of gold then red card, also from the kit. Attach 4 green brads to the corners and the wreath brad to the centre and then the whole thing to the front of the card using foam pads. Using the chipboard holly as a template cut 3 leaves. Gently dab around the edges in green ink. I took out the centres and gently dabbed ink in there too. Attach to card adding few buttons for berries.
Using a piece of white paper attach a greeting using the sticky green letters. Mount this onto a scrap of Bauble paper. Add the stocking brad and attach to the inside of your card.

I used the Bright Packages paper as a background and then the pieces I had left over from the kit.
I made up a simple sketch for this layout. The title was computer generated.
